How we communicate and present ourselves is what creates the perception that colleagues and clients have about our experience, trustworthiness, knowledge, and competence. This ability to connect with others is crucial for influencing group members and winning client business.

Whether attendees are presenting before a prospective or existing client, leading important internal meetings or training employees, our Presentation Impact programs focus on ensuring every participant makes tangible, measurable improvement in a short period of time.

Customizable Presentation Programs

Presenting with Confidence and Influence (PCI)

PCI helps participants become more comfortable in their own skin while teaching the vital skills for communicating effectively in a public forum. Through video-coaching in a group feedback environment, attendees become more self-aware on how to capture an audience’s attention, organize clear messages and better understand how to exude a more confident, likeable presence.

Types of presenters best benefitted:

  • Subject Matter Experts who are technically proficient and detail-focused, yet struggle to effectively engage their audience.

  • Individuals who struggle with translating the confidence they have in one-on-one conversations into communicating before a group.

  • Professionals who focus too much on trying to be impressive, but lack the self-awareness to authentically win trust and gain audience buy-in.

  • Individuals who lack either confidence or self-awareness around the impact they have when they communicate.

After attending PCI, participants walk away better able to:

  • Project a humble confidence to make a stronger impact, inside and outside of your organization.

  • Apply verbal and nonverbal techniques that are better able to command a group’s attention.

  • Develop and organize value-driven messages that appeal to an audience’s self-interest.

  • Incorporate tools to manage the anxiety that inhibits your ability to communicate comfortably in a public forum.

Executive Impact

Many senior executives unknowingly fall short when it comes to optimizing their presence, approachability, trustworthiness and ability to be positively influential in diverse circles. Why? They seldom get candid feedback on these essential qualities. Executive Impact dramatically increases participants’ self-awareness because they are provided the unvarnished truth and immediately adoptable tools on how to convert their gaps into opportunities. Attendees leave this program far better positioned to have stronger impact in all facets of their communication.

Highest leverage audience:

  • Senior and C-Suite company officers with high-stakes responsibility, i.e., winning or keeping client business, overseeing large projects, leading a high volume of employees.

Outcomes:

  • Ensure participant's strengths are emphasized and expanded for more consistent, successful outcomes.

  • Identify and understand where the participant could potentially come up short in his or her ability to connect, putting personal reputation or significant business opportunities at risk.

  • Analyze the participant’s process for preparing messaging and provide strategies that build a targeted approach and intentional connection points for each audience.

  • Develop in a shared learning environment where other senior leaders are afforded a chance to learn how their peers successfully navigate high-pressure responsibilities.

Facilitating for Success

“Teaching has not succeeded until learning has been confirmed.”

Too many Train the Trainer programs focus far too much on content and process, leaving students bored and overwhelmed with a data dump they don’t retain. Consequently, they are often unable to successfully implement. FFS strikes the balance of imparting meaty, audience-centered content in an engaging, highly interactive environment. Whether instruction occurs in a formal meeting before a group or in daily on-the-job teaching, the ability to facilitate effectively is integral for maximizing knowledge and skill transfer. Participants in this course are equipped with adult-learning tools to ensure colleagues they teach are better prepared for future success.

Target Levels:

  • Managers or staff members who must lead meetings, train courses or share technical knowledge that must be absorbed and applied by both individuals and groups.

What participants walk away with:

  • Greater ability to facilitate meetings and workshops that are both engaging and outcome-focused

  • Approach to preparing materials that integrate the right balance of involvement and discussion

  • Understanding of how to present in a manner that transitions the learning environment from passive (or boring) to interactive (and fun)

  • Roleplay with colleagues in an environment that provides feedback which leads to immediately applicable adjustments

  • Understanding of how to adapt to learning styles different than their own.
